Myles-A-Part Supporting Families Facing Autism

Katennia Dula
Founder & Executive Director

Myles-A-Part: Katennia Dula Katennia Dula, founder and executive director of the Myles-A-Part Foundation, has focused for the last eight years on creating dynamic environments in churches like North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. With a degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she has learned to put her skills as a writer and communicator to good use serving non-profit organizations and ministries for the last decade.

At two years old, her son Myles was diagnosed with Autism. As she and her husband Samuel began the process of accepting the condition and navigating the path to help Myles, they, like most families, were dismayed to find that Autism is generally not covered by insurance. In addition, little state and federal funding is available to underwrite the expensive therapies associated with Autism, the fastest growing disability in America. In response to this dire need, she has established Myles-A-Part to provide financial and emotional support for Autistic families.
